Overview

A sizable financial organization undertook a dynamic project deploying to AWS via an EKS cluster. The project’s application pods were seamlessly orchestrated within the EKS cluster environment. RDS databases were chosen to ensure reliable and scalable data management. CloudWatch facilitated comprehensive log management.

Furthermore, a set of EC2 instances were harnessed to host application containers for DEV and QA purposes. The project benefited from the efficiency of CodePipeline, enabling automated deployment processes.

Our Process

Needs Assessment

Our collaboration started with a thorough assessment phase. Working closely with the customer, we established project objectives centered around deploying  AWS via EKS. Key parameters included automating monitoring. Additionally, generating comprehensive feature importance reports for stakeholders.

Choosing Appropriate Tools

In accordance with the project’s unique requirements, a meticulous selection of tools was made. This encompassed leveraging Amazon EKS for container orchestration, Amazon RDS for reliable database services, AWS CloudWatch for log management, and AWS CodePipeline for streamlined automated deployments.

Build & Deploy

The heart of the project involved enabling a smooth, end-to-end build and deployment process. This was accomplished by establishing automated pipelines, optimizing the use of EKS clusters, and ensuring Cloud native services effectively detected bias, generated compliance-related explanations.

Cloud & Engineering Cloud Project Scope

The project’s cloud scope was anchored in the Amazon EKS cluster. Additionally, Amazon RDS databases facilitated efficient data storage and retrieval. Amazon EC2 instances were dedicated to host containers for DEV and QA applications, ensuring optimal environment separation. AWS CodePipeline orchestrated the automated deployment workflow, enhancing efficiency.

Tools Deployed
  • Amazon EKS for container orchestration
  • Amazon RDS for reliable database services
  • AWS CloudWatch for comprehensive log monitoring
  • Amazon EC2 instances for hosting DEV and QA application containers
  • AWS CodePipeline for automated deployment workflows

Conclusion

In this impactful endeavor, a sizable financial organization harnessed Amazon Web Services’ capabilities, particularly Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), to revolutionize deployment efficiency. With seamless application pod management within the EKS cluster, streamlined deployment became a reality. Robust data management relied on Amazon RDS databases, while CloudWatch ensured comprehensive log supervision. EC2 instances optimized hosting for DEV and QA app containers, orchestrated by AWS CodePipeline for automated deployments.
